Otto laminated backstage passes have been and remain at the cutting edge of development for 30-plus years. Here are links to some pages of images of our work.
Laminated passes need to be visible. You want the peer security folk to be able to spot them and make a go/no-go decision quickly. They need to be protected from counterfeiting in a way that can be spotted without a microscope. They need to reflect well on the image of the production. Otto is the best at delivering all three.
These are our standard laminate and pouch sizes. Other sizes and shapes are possible, but these are the easiest and most cost-effective to produce.
Any laminated backstage pass art can be made to any shape. Let your imagine run wild.
You can make the decision to go with a black-and-white, monochrome, or duotone image on purely aesthetic grounds. You don't need to make the decision to limit your options because of budgetary limits. All images are full-color.

Most laminates will be printed in CMYK inks -- also called four-color process. This lets us use billions of possible colors -- not any color, but very close to it. Aren't they gorgeous? We think so.
The simplest and still most cost-effective anti-counterfeit measure is the use of hot-stamp foil in a design. The metallic finish is impossible to reproduce on even the most sophisticated color copier.
Laser laminates shimmer with ethereal beauty and brilliant anti-counterfeit features. Even more exciting, Otto has recently added technology to our plant which allows us to print more quickly, on a wider variety of foils, and at less expense than before. Watch this space for samples as they come off tour.
In this day and age when everything is printed in full color anyway, this little trick is needed less than before. But when you need it, you need it. Otto has it.
Printed with metallic inks on presses which are rapidly becoming extinct, these beauties offer a special touch and counterfeit protection that is unique.
If you're laminating your hard passes on the road and want to personalize your passes, Otto can pre-print the backs of your laminates with forms that make it easier for you to do just that. Ask your Otto rep for a photo back.
