If ready art is being provided, it must meet Otto's stringent quality control standards, or we may be forced to charge higher rates to bring it into compliance.
However, if a page layout application is used where linked files are required, the links must be updated on the media provided. Otto cannot be responsible for alterations in artwork due to broken links.
If art is provided that contains elements which must be resized or resampled to meet our quality control standards, the time to make this correction will be charged at our console rate -- currently $160.00 per hour -- in addition to any fees already quoted. (It should be pointed out here that we do not charge extra for layout time if Otto performs that task from the beginning.)
In addition to the need to resample images, there is the time lost due to the need to copy excessively large files from provided media to our computers and/or across our network. One at a time, this may not seem like any big deal. But dealing with thousands of files as we do, the minutes add up. Accordingly, time required for this will be charged at our console rate --currently $160.00 per hour.
